Anaconda Cut: Meet the Residents
Anaconda Cut is an exciting place for a number of reasons. It’s the tallest building in Salford, the second tallest Build to Rent (BtR) building in the UK, and boasts incredible views across Manchester in all directions. But what really makes Anaconda Cut special is the people, and the community we’ve built.
Since welcoming our first residents in March, the community at Anaconda Cut has flourished. We wanted to give a glimpse into what it’s like to live in Salford’s most exciting BtR development. What better way than to ask the people who call Anaconda Cut home?
Loving the location
One of the main things that stood out when chatting to our residents was that the location was a major draw.
Rebecca, 29, was particularly impressed: “We moved from Dublin, and knew nobody here or anything about the city really,” she explained. “So we wanted something fabulous and central from which we could feel a part of the city and would be able to explore easily.”
For Michael, 40, the location was crucial. “I didn’t want to travel around by car, so Anaconda Cut’s prime location with proximity to shopping, restaurants and social life made it the perfect choice,” he told us.
A sense of community
We pride ourselves on creating more than just apartments at Anaconda Cut – we’re creating a community. The success of this community feel was reflected in our residents’ responses.
Rebecca has settled in quickly, and loves the friendly, welcoming feel. “It’s perfect! From the location to the people we’re lucky to now call friends, it’s a wonderful place to call home and we absolutely love the vibe,” she told us.
Michael said that the team themselves helped create a positive experience right from the start. “Being one of the first few residents to move into this brand new building, Nathan and his team made sure everything promised during my initial viewing was met, and made sure my apartment was ready to move into within the two week timeline I had.”
Meanwhile Hannah, 26, praised the “friendly, inclusive lifestyle”. As Leasing and Resident Services Specialist, she also works at Anaconda Cut, describing it as one of her most interesting workplaces.
A pet friendly development
Another feature that got the thumbs up from our residents was the fact we’re pet friendly. We believe pet friendly apartments are the future of the private rental sector and are delighted to welcome a range of four legged friends to Anaconda Cut.
Rebecca emphasised how much she “adores that we can have our little puppy here with us”. Meanwhile Michael, also a dog owner, found that “Anaconda Cut’s pet friendly policy gave it that extra bonus”.
Top quality amenities
No resident interview would be complete without quizzing them on their favourite thing about Anaconda Cut – so that’s exactly what we did.
For Michael, Anaconda Cut ticked all the boxes when he was hunting for an apartment. He loves “having ceiling to floor windows within my apartment, giving amazing city skyline views” and also praised the “high quality finishes in the kitchen, bathroom and flooring”.
Rebecca said it was a tough question – “genuinely, everything is great!” – but gave our onsite gym a special mention as her favourite facility.
Hannah also found it difficult to pick just one thing she loved about Anaconda Cut. “I think it has to be the people,” she said. “Although the views definitely help, too!”
